Its key innovation is the Active Heel Pad (AHP): a PU insert passing through the insole, positioned at the heel to transfer the impact of each step directly to the outsole. The result is continuous cushioning that reduces stress on joints and back, even when carrying heavy backpacks and gear. Weighing 791 g, it combines extra protection with a perfect balance of comfort and performance.
Compared to the ADAK 6, the ADAK 8 features a higher upper that provides greater ankle coverage and increased stability when crossing dense forests and challenging terrain. Made of recycled Jacquard fabric with abrasion-resistant microfiber inserts, it is a lightweight, breathable and flexible structure capable of withstanding thorns, brambles and underbrush. The 360° full rubber rand, with camouflage design and PU reinforcements with a scratched finish, protects the boot from rocks and dense vegetation. The GORE-TEX ePE Performance Comfort lining keeps feet dry and thermoregulated in all conditions.
The Vibram® 3D outsole ensures grip and control on varied terrain — mud, rock, scree — with a profile that promotes natural foot roll and an underslung heel for added security on descents. The Wide Last (WL) fit offers more space in the forefoot, enhancing comfort and stability on long hunts.
