The Thunder GTX is an evolution of our beloved Storm model, offering superior cushioning: its adaptive sole with new Adaptive Hero System (AHS)* technology minimises terrain impact, ensuring a smooth and secure walk on any surface. Adaptive Sole The core of Thunder GTX is its innovative Adaptive Hero System (AHS)* technology, devised by Zamberlan's R&D team, which allows the sole to minimise negative impacts with the ground by absorption and adaptation, offering advanced cushioning and perfect ground adaptation. In Thunder GTX, the wedge is formed by two layers of low-density EVA between which a TPU insert is inserted. In this way, the soft microporous upper layer gives the foot a cushioning effect when walking, while the midsole provides maximum stability, lightness and anti-torsion control. The bottom layer absorbs negative impact with the ground, adapting smoothly to uneven terrain, and the medium-density EVA insert in the heel area promotes cushioning. Thanks to the new Active Heel Pad (AHP)* technology developed by Zamberlan's R&D team, ground impact is transferred directly to the sole through a PU insert passing through the insole and strategically placed in the heel of the shoe. The result? This innovative system increases softness by providing consistent cushioning and reducing impact on joints for consistent, long-lasting cushioning. Stability and grip designed for long-distance trekking Tackling long distances requires a shoe that provides the right balance of support and lightweight.  The Perwanger® leather upper with Hydrobloc® treatment and durable, water-repellent Gore-tex lining ensures durability even in the harshest conditions. For support in rugged, off-trail terrain, the padded collar wraps around the ankle without constriction, adapting naturally to your movements. Inspired by the iconic Salathé GTX RR shoes, and with the addition of the Swedish RECCO® rescue and safety system, the Salathé Trek GTX RR is technically advanced and proves a responsive and loyal companion. Thanks to the RECCO® reflector, rescue organizations equipped with the appropriate detector can immediately track the wearer in case of loss or emergency. Salathé Trek GTX RR, with vivid carryovers, offers maximum visibility in the undergrowth. Despite its light weight, it is stable, precise and offers support through a number of features. Lacing all the way to the toe ensures a snug fit, the high-cut suede upper offers additional ankle protection, and the new X-Active Fit® last increases comfort. Versatile and extremely comfortable, the new BALTORO LITE comes in hunting colours and with high visibility inserts. Enriched by the new Comfort Fit, it is recommended for long walks on mountains and hills. Waterproof and breathable, it guarantees cushioning and flexibility thanks to the EVA wedge and a particularly soft construction. The new high visibility plastic hooks increase the smoothness of the lace. To maintain its water repellency over time, we recommend the periodic application of the Hydrobloc® spray. For greater comfort we suggest the combination with the sock FOREST HIGH or with the sock THERMO FOREST HIGH.

The waterproof 968 TARGET GTX CF, made of Perwanger® leather, provides comfort for long time and, at the same time, it supports both the foot and the ankle. The rubber toe rand protects the upper against cut and debris, while the PU toe cap protects the toe from shocks. The EVA wedge and the GORE-TEX lining provide excellent comfort even in humid conditions.
