The new Salathé approach shoe, stable, precise, lightweight, has been developed to meet the needs of all those who have always dreamed of a "from the car to the top" shoe. Named after one of the most iconic climbing places, it was created for via ferrata and technical approach, but its extreme comfort and versatility make it perfect for trekking and hiking. The unique height, called "up-cut", combines the freedom of a low shoe with the protection of a mid shoe. The fit is wrapping and precise thanks to the inclusion of elastic materials and an innovative construction with “to toe” lacing. The upper, in embossed suede leather, is protected by a 360° rand  to increase the protectionagainst rocks and stones. Salathè is water-repellent thanks to the specific Hydroblock® treatment and the mesh lining facilitates foot perspiration. The elasticat and breathable gusset exponentially increases the comfort, as does the pre-shaped collar made with a new technology that provides support while optimising the use of material.
