Waterproofness, sturdiness and excellent protection are the characteristics at the base of our research into better shock absorbency and lightness, which exploits the most advanced technology that the footwear industry has to offer. The 8000 EVEREST EVO RR mountaineering boots have been especially designed for high altitude expeditions. The removable inner bootee guarantees optimal thermal insulation, the new Vibram® Penia outsole has deep-set, multi-directional lugs for better traction and durability. The double-density PU wedge (rigid PU and shock absorbing PU) guarantees better absorbency and support as well as lightness. The carbon fibre insole with honeycomb structure thermally insulates the inner bootee while maintaining the heat generated by the outsole of the feet. The rubber rand and the PU heel offer more protection against scratches and lacerations. The high gaiter is waterproof and the YKK zip is resistant to water, wind and UV rays. The excellent thermal insulation characteristic of the 8000 EVEREST EVO RR has been certified by the CIMAC institute for temperatures up to -30°C (in a static environment), but  the mountaineer can face more rigid temperatures of up to -60°C during physical activities. Compatibility with step-in crampons makes these boots the perfect choice even for high level winter expeditions.

The 6000 DENALI EVO RR PU mountaineering boots have been designed for expeditions up to 6000 m;  the removable inner bootee offers excellent thermal insulation, protecting the feet against the cold. This model has been certified by the CIMAC institute for temperatures up to -30°C (in a static environment), but the mountaineer can brave colder  temperatures up to -40°C when moving. These boots are ideal for high altitudes: the high gaiter, the YKK zip and the upper in Cordura® and microfibre are an impenetrable barrier against water and snow. These boots are manufactured using the best technology that the footwear industry has to offer providing the mountaineer with the best possible shock absorbency, lightness and grip. To combat wear and tear the Vibram® Penia outsole guarantees the correct combination of support and sensitivity and the new carbon fibre insole offers a superior rigidity, lightness and thermal insulation. Model Zarathustra represents the evolution of the design approach on the Alpine category. It differs from its predecessors for the lack of leather and the intensive use of highly abrasion resistant fabrics. It has a unique state of the art upper in elasticated knitting. The outer BOA lacing system allows a  precise and quick adjustment without taking the gloves off.  The carbon fibre and aluminium  lasting board provides stiffness for crampon support and lightweight for more easiness of use. The aluminium layered footbed  offer insulation against  cold rising from the ground. Zarathustra is also equipped with RECCO rescue system to allow enjoying the climb in safety in case of troubles. The combined polyurethane and rubber 360° rand protects the boot and the foot against stones and impacts giving strength and durability to the boot.
